All over town, cherry trees and lilacs were in full bloom. It was a lovely warm spring day scented with all of the blossoms. |

It was such a beautiful day that we even saw a bit of the US ... the Ambassador's residence! The locals say he is never homesick because he lives in "The White House". |

The locals call this bridge "The UFO Bridge" due to it's unique architecture. The top is a revolving restaurant. |

All over Europe, we saw lots of alternative energy and adverts for "green" living. |

During our walkng tour, we saw this compass embedded in the street. |

The town is full of medieval streets - narrow passageways with arches that support the buildings. |

Despite the beautiful old buildings, Bratislava is a modern city. |
