We stayed at the Derag Karl Theodore. The hotel was nice, and the staff was very friendly. It is located in a very nice residential area called Gern. There was a supermarket on the other side of the parking lot and a good Italian restaurant next door.	Go Back to Top

Day Two - Touring Marienplatz in Munich

Mike eating weisswurst. This is a Munich delicacy - a sausage made from veal and sage. You dip it in the sweet mustard then suck the meat out of the casing. Munchners eat this for breakfast with a big pretzel and beer.
Mike lost his hat on the way to Munich, so I bought him a new one. I think this is a good look for him.
Me at the Hard Rock Cafe. We lucked out, and there was a pin trader meeting going on. I met a bunch of the local pin traders and scored 15 new pins trading the ones I brought with me. Mike also met a comic collector.
